Dr. Sait Cemal TUREK (Yonca Food Chairman of the Board)

Dr. Sait Turek was born in Manisa, in 1961. While attending secondary school and high school he was helping his father Hasan Türek (founder of Yonca) in his business life. He graduated from the Medical Faculty of Aegean University and Türek worked as a medical doctor between 1984-1988 during his compulsory medical studies and military service.

In 1988, he began to work at their family’s business “Ege Yag AS”. In 1989, he founded Tur Gida Company and started to produce tomato paste and exported tomato products. “Tur Gida” presented the natural flavor of tomatoes to the global market in 1994 under “Manisa Gıda Sanayi Company” and located its facilities in the Karaağaçlı, Manisa to meet the increasing demands of high-quality productions. In 1997, Türek bought “Evin Canning” to expand company’s product range. In 2000, the company gathered all its production activities in a single hub, which is in the Karaagacli Town, as “Manisa Gida Konservecilik Sanayi incorporated company” at Karaagacli Facilities Food Complex.

In 2010, Yonca Food archived the number one pickle production capacity in Turkey after including Saruhan Canned Food Facilities which is located in Saruhanlı Town of Manisa to its operations.

In 2001, Dr. Sait Turek has taken over the Yonca Food Chairman of the Board duty from Honorary Chairman and Founder Hasan Türek. Dr. Sait Turek is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Manisa Industrial Park (MOSB), since 2008. Dr. Sait Turek is married and has three children, two sons, and a daughter.

Rıza SEYYAR (Yonca Food Chairman of the Executive Board)

Born in 1964 in Kayseri, Riza Seyyar graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at Dokuz Eylül University. In 1989, he worked as Sales Manager in Yaktaş Inc., Kayseri. He then spent 5 years in Istanbul at Kent Metal Culinary Utensils Ltd. as Accounting and Finance Manager. In 1997, he joined Manisa Evin Canned Food Inc., a company of Türek Group, as Vice Principal. Currently, he serves as the CEO of Yonca Food Ind. Inc. He carries out a number of other duties including; Member of the Board of TIM (Turkish Exporters Assembly), Member of Sectors Council of TIM, Chairman of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association and Vice Chairman of the Board of Manisa Food Industries and Agricultural Products Inc.

He is married and has two daughters.
